Based on 10+ years of experience and domain best-practices,
we structured the collaboration process as follows:

Schedule a call

Introductory meeting

The best way to discuss the project is through an online meeting, which provides the necessary level of trust and confidence, which is important for making the right decision.

During the meeting you can explain the project details, asks questions, which we answer in detail and in plain English . Also we ask  questions to clarify all unclear requirements of the project.

Average call takes about half an hour and you can reach us at: hello@eleven-space.com.

You'll then receive a Calendly link to schedule a call at your preferred time.


Budget, time, deliverables

To make the estimation of the scope and cost of work, we collect as much information about the project as possible : interview, brief, customer’s research (if any), mockups and wireframes.

The preliminary estimation helps us to setup a roadmap with description of work for each page / screen and the timing.

UX stage

Research, sitemap, userflows, wireframes

At this stage we create the user flows, consider the behavior of different types of users. We create the detailed pages, structure and navigation through wireframes to agree the overall logic of the project.

It is important to form logical groups and structure them in a logical order. It becomes clear how many screens will be there in the project and their functionality. We create a priority list and agree on the order to work on.

On each of our stages we gather  feedback and make necessary revisions.

UI stage

Mood-board, Art direction, High-fidelity screens

To define which style you enjoy the most, or which one fits the target audience we gather a list of inspirational works (moodboard).

Based on the gathered data, we create sample works for the up-coming art direction. You get to tell us what you like, dislike, mix and match sections and styles.

After the general style is approved, we continue by creating all high-fidelity screens: web, tablet or mobile.

Interactive prototype, Design system

From the final screens we compile an interactive prototype to provide testing and sharing with stakeholders, team and potential clients.

For every project we provide a styleguide/design system to create and maintain consistency on the project and for seamless developer hand-off and documentation.

When the project is completed, we transfer ownership to you for all the source files. We are seeking to have a great collaboration and we are here to support you during and after the project is delivered.

Which design editor do we use ?

We use Figma, design editor, for everything related to our project: designing, prototyping, gathering feedback, sharing the progress with the client, project documentation and designer-to-developer hand-off.

How do we handle communication ?

Once the kick-off the project you will be invited to a dedicated Slack channel we're we can instantly communicate and share notes on the project. Besides Slack, we have a weekly video meeting to show progress, gather insights and implement feedback.

What are the design stages ?

We enjoy predictability, that's why we follow a design process. Nevertheless the process is personalised for each client. A typical design project follows these stages:

1. Discovery
- Understanding the requirements
- Defining the roadmap, timeline, budget, deliverables

2. Design
- Creating the moodboard, defining the art direction
- Creating low-fidelity, high-fidelity designs
- Creating the design system

3. Delivery
- Documenting the design rules and components in the project
- Creating the interactive prototype
- Invite developers and transfer ownership of the Figma project

How is the payment handled ?

Depending on the project length, we work on a fixed amount or an hourly rate.
For fixed amount, we split the project into 3 stages (beginning, intermediary, final).
For hourly amount, we estimate the project length.

We have a minimum engagement of two weeks.
